Sang Cao Labs makes small iPhone apps, each built around one problem that people already describe in their own words: a recording that lights up the room, two accounts that keep signing each other out, a mileage log that has to hold up with the IRS, a job that needs its photos to prove it was done. Each app does that one job and stops there.

How we build
One job per app. An app starts from a problem people have already written down — in reviews, in forums, in support threads — and is finished when it solves that problem well, not when it has the most features.
Your data stays with you. Apps keep what you make on your device, or in your own iCloud, wherever they can. Each app’s privacy policy says exactly what it collects.
Built and supported by the same person. Every app is designed, written, put through App Review and supported in-house. A support email is answered by whoever wrote the code it is about.
Plain claims. An app page says what the app does and what it cannot do, including the limits iOS sets for every app.

Sang Cao Labs is run by Sang Cao, a software engineer in Ho Chi Minh City with more than ten years of building web and mobile products. He designs, builds and supports the apps, and writes the guides on this site. How these guides are written says where their facts come from.
