This page is about the website you are reading. Each app has its own policy, because each app behaves differently: NoLight and SideSpace.
Nothing that identifies you by name, and nothing you have to give it.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics. Counts page views and measures loading speed. It sets no cookies and does not fingerprint your device. What it records is the page address, the referring site, and general things like country, browser and device type — aggregated.
- Google Analytics. Counts visits, which pages are read, and which links out are
clicked, so it is possible to tell which writing is useful. It does set cookies —
first-party ones named
_gaand_ga_…— which let it tell a returning browser from a new one. It records the page address, the referring site, approximate location from the IP address, and browser and device type. That data goes to Google and is subject to Google’s privacy policy. Any browser setting or extension that blocks it will work here; nothing on this site tries to defeat one. - No forms and no sign-in. There is nothing here to submit and no account to create. Your browser may also store a theme preference locally, which never leaves your device.
The site is a set of static files. It has no database and no user accounts.
What is not here
No advertising network, no ad retargeting, no session recording or heatmaps, no tag manager, and no attempt to work out who you are. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone beyond the two measurement tools named above.
What the hosting provider sees
Requests reach this site through Cloudflare, which handles them the way any web host or CDN does: it processes connection data such as IP address, user agent and the URL requested, in order to serve the page and to block abuse. That is standard infrastructure logging and it is covered by Cloudflare’s own privacy terms.
Links out
Pages here link to the App Store and to other sites. Once you follow a link, that site’s own policy applies; this one does not.
Changes
If anything above stops being true — an analytics tool, a form, a newsletter — this page changes first, and the date at the top moves with it.
